Welcome to Oscalate (“we”, “our”, “us”)! This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile application (“App”). This policy applies to users in Europe, North America, South America, Central America, Africa, and Asia.

We do not collect any personal user data. However, we do collect minimal hardware data through Firebase Crashlytics for the purpose of reporting and diagnosing crashes. The data collected includes:
- Device type
- Operating system version
- Crash logs
3. Use of Information
The hardware data collected is used solely for the purpose of:
- Diagnosing and fixing crashes
- Improving app performance
4. No User Login or Personal Data Collection
Our app does not require user login and does not collect or store any personal user data such as names, email addresses, or payment information.
5. No Advertisements
Our app is ad-free. We do not use any advertising networks or services.
6. Third-Party Services

Europe (GDPR)
- Legal Basis: We ensure that the minimal hardware data collected is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently.
- Rights of Data Subjects: Users have the right to access, correct, or delete their data, and to object to the processing of their data. Since we do not collect personal data, these rights are generally not applicable in this context. Any data created using the app remains the property of the creator and is never collected or retained for use outside the user’s hardware.
North America
United States (CCPA for California)
- Rights of California Residents: Under the CCPA, users have the right to know what data is collected, access their data, request deletion of their data, and opt-out of the sale of their data. Since we do not collect personal data, these rights are not applicable.
Canada (PIPEDA)
- Rights of Canadian Residents: Users have the right to access their data, correct inaccuracies, and request deletion. Since we do not collect personal data, these rights are not applicable.
South America (Brazil LGPD)
- Rights of Brazilian Residents: Users have the right to access, correct, delete, and port their data, and to know about entities with which their data is shared. Since we do not collect personal data, these rights are not applicable.
Central America
- Rights of Users: Users have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their data. Since we do not collect personal data, these rights are not applicable.
Africa
South Africa (POPIA)
- Rights of South African Residents: Users have the right to be notified about data collection, access their data, request corrections or deletions, object to processing, and submit complaints to the relevant authority. Since we do not collect personal data, these rights are not applicable.
- Legal Basis: We ensure that the minimal hardware data collected is processed lawfully and transparently.
Other African Countries
- Compliance: We strive to comply with data protection laws applicable in other African countries where our app is used. Users in these countries may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and object to the processing of their data. Since we do not collect personal data, these rights are generally not applicable.
Asia
Singapore (PDPA)
- Rights of Singapore Residents: Users have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their data. Since we do not collect personal data, these rights are not applicable.
Japan (APPI)
- Rights of Japanese Residents: Users have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their data. Since we do not collect personal data, these rights are not applicable.

- Rights of Indian Residents: Users have the right to access, correct, delete, and port their data. Since we do not collect personal data, these rights are not applicable.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the hardware data collected from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures are in accordance with Firebase Crashlytics’ security policies.
10. Children’s Privacy
This app is not intended for children under 13, though it contains no material unsuitable for this age group. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
11. International Data Transfers
The minimal hardware data collected may be transferred and processed in countries other than your own. By using this app, you consent to this transfer. We rely on Firebase Crashlytics’ compliance with international data transfer regulations.
12. Updates and Notifications
App updates will be made through the Google Play Store. Any changes to our data collection practices will be listed in the app’s update description on the Play Store.
13. Consent
By using this app, you consent to the collection of minimal hardware data as described in this policy. If you disagree, please uninstall the app.
14. Data Breach Notification
In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting our minimal collected data, we will notify users through our Google Play Store listing, as we do not collect personal contact information.
15. App Permissions
The Design version (paid complete version) of our app requires storage permission to access phone storage outside the app. A notice explaining this is shown on startup.
16. Data Deletion Process
Data collection stops when the app is uninstalled. Due to the anonymous nature of the data collected, we cannot delete specific user data upon request, as there is no way to link the data to individual users. User-created data remains solely on the user’s device and is deleted when the app is uninstalled.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating our Google Play Store listing.
