If you are looking for a particular instrument and aren't use Oscalate Design (the full version of Oscalate), you can request an instrument or sound here. I can try to create the instrument for you and include it in future versions of the app. Please keep the requests reasonable (I can't recreate the entire DX7 patch library, at least not yet).

I had never heard of the phonk style before, so after a quick search on youtube, I found a number of video tutorials on creating a phonk cowbell from scratch (How to Make a Phonk Cowbell from Scratch [Sound Design Tutorial] by Sam Smyers and HOW TO MAKE A PHONK COWBELL (FROM SCRATCH) [IN 15 SECONDS] by thayerperiod).
The phonk cowbell is not a traditional cowbell, it is a synthesized cowbell originally created on the Roland TR-808 drum machine in 1980. It originally did poorly commercially, but developed a following and widespread use.
I have created a version of the 808 cowbell for Oscalate and three versions of it are now included in instrument-pack-03.
